How to get started
Welcome to Aviation Test Prep. Here's how to go from zero to studying in about a minute.
1. Create your free account
Sign up with your email and a password — no credit card required. If you arrived from the free practice test, your email is carried over automatically.
2. Pick your exam
Choose the FAA knowledge test you're preparing for — for example Private Pilot Airplane (PAR), Instrument (IRA), or Remote Pilot / Part 107 (UAG). Only exams that currently have questions loaded are shown, and you can switch exams later at any time.
3. Start the 5-step method
Your dashboard is your home base — it shows your progress, your study streak, the Question of the Day, and the five study steps. Work the steps in order; each one builds on the last.
What's free vs. Premium
On the free plan you get a fixed 40-question set for your exam so you can try the full study flow end to end. Upgrading to Premium unlocks the complete question bank, AI Deep Dive explanations, full analytics, every study mode, the tools (E6B, FAA reference viewer), and access to every exam.
That's it — pick a step and start answering. Aim for a little every day; consistency beats cramming.
