Which FAA test code do I need?
Each FAA knowledge test has a code — for example Private Pilot Airplane, Instrument Rating Airplane, Commercial Pilot, Remote Pilot (Part 107), and the Aviation Mechanic General/Airframe/Powerplant tests. We show the full test name in the app so you don't have to memorize codes; pick the one for the certificate or rating you're earning.
